West Tennessee native and retired U.S. Army veteran, William Mallard moved to Fairfield Glade from Dyersburg, Tennessee in 2018. He attends Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church. He has been volunteering with Habitat for nine months, twice per week, as a cashier in our ReStore.
His favorite part of volunteering is interacting with ReStore shoppers.
William believes “Habitat is doing God’s work- love your neighbor as yourself.” It’s folks like William who make our mission of building strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter possible.
